Healing cannot truly begin until we are ready to sit down, pull off the bandages, and clean out our old wounds. This is just as true of our mental and emotional wounds as it is of our physical wounds. If what you’ve tried hasn’t been working, then it’s time to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.

In the time I’ve been working as a counselor, I’ve gained experience working with clients facing a variety of concerns, including substance use disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, major life changes, grief, anger management, and more. While I tend to work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral approach, I also believe that therapy is unique to each client and will pull from various other therapeutic perspectives in order to provide the best care possible to each client.

I strive to meet each client where they’re at and to create a safe space in which to heal. If you’re ready to try something new, then step out of your comfort zone and reach out. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.

I am a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health/licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience in public and social services. During the past 13 years, I have worked tirelessly to support individuals facing a range of mental health disorders and those in recovery from addictive diseases.

With a strong belief in the power of personalized care, I employ a variety of evidence-based modalities, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. My expertise spans cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing, among others, allowing me to address complex psychological issues effectively.

I have a proven track record of fostering safe and trusting environments, enabling clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. I am committed to empowering individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience.

In addition to my clinical work, I actively engage in community outreach and education, advocating for mental health awareness and accessibility. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve mental wellness and strive to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
