Therapy Services

Therapy can be done in a lot of different ways, but the three most common types are:

  • Individual Therapy offers individuals of all ages and walks of life the opportunity to work one-on-one with a caring professional to treat behavioral, emotional, mental and physical issues.

  • Couple's Therapy helps couples improve their relationship as they resolve interpersonal conflicts and develop healthy relationship patterns.

  • Family Therapy helps families experience cohesive healing as they overcome past pain, learn constructive resolution and develop healthy boundaries.

We also offer comprehensive Psychological Evaluations with the purpose of gaining an in-depth understanding  of the client, providing support, accessing outside services and developing effective treatment with outside professionals.

In order to meet the diverse needs of our clients, we employ many different techniques and styles to best meet the needs and goals set by our clients with the perceptive guidance of their licensed therapist. Our therapists are here to provide a safe environment as they listen, make inquiries, provide assessment and guidance, aid in communication, address harmful patterns and challenge them for the purpose of meeting their goals. Therapy typically takes place every other week in 35-45 minute sessions until the therapist and client decide their goals have been met.

At Psychological Services of North Georgia, you will not have to struggle alone. Our therapists are here to partner with you through whatever situation you are going through, providing support and council with understanding and compassion every step of the way.
